When NPY visited me in Singapore- DAY 1

15:08

When I knew that I was going to leave Singapore soon, I forced my bff aka npy to die die visit me no matter what. Thank God for His blessings and we had a wonderful 3D2N trip before she escorted me back to Malaysia =P Also, shoutout to my npy that came all the way for me and to have created these memories with me =))))

DAY 1

Getting my npy from Changi
It must have been one of the most exciting trip to Changi to go get my npy from the airport. You could imagine all the hugss and the high pitch screaming from both of us when we met in the airport.

One thing different about being a tourist at another country and working in another country- is that you see things differently and you somehow have different views. Mun pointed out a point where I have never though of after living in Singapore for nine months. Along the way leaving Changi Airport, Mun mentioned that she loved how organised and soothing the colours of HDBs are.

Guess you fellow Singaporeans didn't notice that huh?

We took a bus from the airport and changed another bus at Seletar Camp (I think I remembered correctly). Another thing that we both agreed, is that there are plenty plenty of trees in Singapore. This is actually worth praising, because the amount of effort needed to have greens in a city is really not easy. However, don't stop. Keep going! You still need lots of trees because Singapore is still very hot.

Room Tour
Of course we could have booked a fancy hotel like MBS so we can take the photo at the infinity pool but what's better than that? My room, yes my room. In Penang, we always hang out at M's room. This time, finally I have chance to show her my room in Singapore. If you have a best friend or your family that you always video call to, you'll get what I mean. (and of course why would we spend such large sum of SGD when we will be out for much longer than we'll be in the hotel)
She was really tired LOL, too much of walking and heat I guess. But I still think she looked pretty haha

tadaaa! pretty leh? hehe

ORCHARD
We didn't really plan where to go, but I guess coming to Singapore- visiting Orchard Road is a must. Well all we did was to walk around and window shopped. But who cared? The most important thing was Mel and Mun were reunited!

pretty as always =)))

Still my favourite shot

See how much she loves me =D

Etude House for a lil fun

We had some fun while waiting for another friend to join us for dinner at the Orchard MRT station. This was one of the most interesting makeup shop I've been to. (I really like Innisfree at Harbour Front as well )

I can tell you just tried the hand cream. Is it good?

"Hmm, everything look so nice what should I buy?"

Cinderella in a carriage

Look at the details, don't tell anyone I tried touching the macarons to see if they were real

Hungry asf already, but nvm let's take a look at F21 first because our friend was still on her way. Well shopping is always a great alternative to anything right? Happy? Shop it is! Sad? Shop la. Angry? Shop Shop Shop! And lastly, hungry?? Go shop first to distract the hunger from kicking in.

Tadaaaaa, finally our friend arrived. Brought back lots of Diploma memories when we were reunited. Of course we had to take photos first, we haven't met since forever.

They always bully me and have me stand in the middle with the awkward selfie hand TT then hide behind, ni men hen bad ah.

back light effect was on point

haha they both looked like goldfish, actually I think they wanted me to kiss them

DINNERRRRRRRRRR TIME
We went to Hoshino Coffee for dinner because it's good, that's why. I'll definitely visit it again if I happened to be back in Singapore.

Not a nice picture but shout-out to this Borscht Soup that came first and thank God it managed to make us tahan our hunger a bit
Fancy drinks

SO G O O O O O O O D! MUST ORDER!

SIGHT SEEING -MARINA BAY SANDS & GARDENS BY THE BAY

WONDER FUL WATER SHOW AT MARINA BAY SANDS
Next up, time for some walk because we're stuffed. It was drizzling so we spent some time indoor waiting for it to stop. Thinking that we missed the 9:30pm water show, we felt a bit unfortunate. But it was raining anyway, we couldn't have watched it under the rain. We made good use of the time by walking to get bubble tea and taking some photos around the area. To our pleasant surprise, there was another show at 11:00pm so we managed to watch it. It was my first time watching and I was quite impressed by it. And it's totally free, you should totally check it our if you visit Singapore.

You can actually get a great night view of Singapore here at MBS
Suddenly the show started to play

Camera quality much better to capture the lights

Feels like we're watching some kinda concert aneh haha

The show is about 15 minutes according to the website, here's a preview of about 3 mins for you. If you like what you're seeing here you should check it out live.

SOME PHOTO SESH

When the messy bun is done right, I hazzz to take picture

GARDENS BY THE BAY

By this time, it was already 1 or 2am. We were so tired and there was no bus available to my place. Cab was unavailable (and with surcharge because it was a tourist spot) and Uber's price surged like crayyyy. We ended up taking a night bus that stopped for like ten or twenty stops before reaching my area. We then took a cab from there to get home. So, lesson learnt- make sure you have your transportation planned properly if you intend to hang out when the MRTs are already off. Both of us were totally on zombie mode when we got back.

Well that of course didn't stop us from our fun activities on the next day. Check out what we did on Day 2 here.
