When NPY visited me in Singapore- DAY 2

21:31

After our tiring Day 1, it's time for more Singapore adventures. Determined to bring Mun to see Universal Studio Singapore's famous globe, we decided to go to Harbour Front area.

Instead of writing like usual, I'll be writing a little different with all the text first then followed with pictures.

If you would like to know how to get to USS, its's actually very very easy. Just get on the MRT and take the North-East/ Purple line and take it till all the way to Harbour Front station. It will be the last station and many people will get down there, just follow the crowd! Inside the mall, go to the highest level and there will be an entrance to USS. I strongly suggest you to use the Ezylink card to get there because the line to buy tickets can be very long some time. Like if you have a whole bunch of tourist group, you will instantly regret! One tap is SGD4 and you will only need to tap once when you enter.
(Gawd I still rmb ><) I think I must have really liked USS.

Before heading straight to USS, we had our breakfast at local favourite shop- Bread Toast. I actually wanted to have YaKun but since it is here and almost the same taste, we had Bread Toast. Verdict is that Penang's roti bakar from road stalls are better heeeee (sorry we are from Penang and the food there is really better than a lot of other places). But I must say Bread Toast/ YaKun is good as well. I'm dyinggggg to have roti bakar in Macau sia TT the locals here don't seem to have this kinda food.

Then, we had some sun bathe sesh outisde first before heading to USS. So happened that there was an event showcasing the war ship or battleship from Singapore and they were right outside by the shore. We didn't go down to see it but saw it from the top. I must say it was quite impressive looking at the size and interior. This is also something special that I like about Singapore, you get to see unexpected things that are (kinda) awesome :)

It was super hot that day but the sun also made most of our pictures lighting-perfect. We took many many photos and had the best memories hanging out together. For lunch we had Korean food and then of course we had to visit the candy shop and made our first ever visit to a casino together! (Do remember to bring along your passport so they can check your age for it not you'll be denied excess if you look suspicious of not 21-and-above)

Fun fact: Locals from Singapore are made compulsory to pay SGD100 if they wanna enter the Casino to curb any gambling issues
My mirror, ohh how I've missed you
This was taken right downstairs where I lived. This is how Singapore is- clean with green (get it? It's my pun hehe)
Polite & helpful bus captains, clean and (most of the time) punctual SMRT buses, I miss you all TT

I like my coffee to be Kopi O and butter only for my bread, Mun had tea

Pretty as always~
Makan roti first hehe

We ended they day with dinner with our bestie, Lyn. Don't mind our 'chan' face because USS (and the heat) really drained our energy and makeup i guess hehe

Day 3 was all about last minute packing and having brunch at Grub Cafe in Ang Mo Kio. Read about it here
