Langkawi Exploring- Day 1 (Part 2)

03:30

After filling up our stomach, it was time to really start the adventure. We were eager to visit the The Longest Free Span and Curved Bridge In The World. It's actually located at the Panorama Langkawi where there are many other attractions such as the Langkawi Cable Car, 6D Cinemotion, Lake Activity and many more.

Check out their website for more information like on-going promotions and discount packages available.

Tip: Download Waze or Google Map and search for Langkawi SkyCab and you'll be able to get there.

Obviously before we start going to the available attractions, we gotta purchase the ticket. After some discussion, we opted for the SkyCab-SkyBridge-6D Cinemotion package. Bear in mind that if it's a peak season the queue for the SkyCab might get very long.

1. 6D Cinemotion

We first went for the 6D Cinemotion first, basically it's just really really normal. Not really exciting and some of my friends actually came out feeling dizzy (my advice is to skip this).
The only photo I have taken in the 6D Cinemotion

2. SkyCab

After that we went to board the SkyCab. The cable car will stop at the Middle Station where you alight to enjoy the scenery and take some photos. If you wish to go straight to the peak, just stay in the cable car instead of getting out. For us, of course we came down to take photos!

Not sure whether it was hazy or foggy, but the wind was really cool and the breeze was fresh

I just don't get why 99% of the time I don't look at the camera. Arghh..
Next, we continue taking the SkyCab to the peak where you get access to the SkyBridge. The lighting in the cable car was really on point, check out the pictures taken.

3. SkyBridge

To give you heads up, you need to climb A LOT. I really mean it, it almost felt like I was hiking. There were so many steep steps, up and down, we almost died of fatigue.

But, it was all worth it when we reached the SkyBridge, the view was just spectacular. You have to see it with your own eyes!

A normal tourist pose

These boys really have the moves

Then there's this cray photo moment
Honestly I only remember the crazy things I did there, like this one

Can you see the little dots in the background that are actually cable cars moving?

4. Lake Activity (MUST TRY!!!)

This was the highlight of the day!

We finished touring the SkyBridge and went down quite early (one of my friend was so freaked out, she just stayed at the beginning of the bridge, LOL!) We saw some people playing these, looked a lot like hamsters exercising to me.  We were standing there watching and then the guy asked whether we want to have a try and after some time of asking each other we decided to do it. Thank God we played this, it was as if we took a happy pill. Once you start playing it, you cannot seem to stop laughing, omg my stomach hurt so bad that day because of all the laughter.

While writing this, I found out that there's actually names for the hamster thingy (haha!).

Although all of us enjoyed the activity, my friends who tried the Orb Ball complained that it was too stuffy and hot inside because it's all covered and there's no air ventilation. Compared to our Roller Orb that have holes, we could actually get fresh air.

Tip: If you have friends with you, I suggest that you play the Roller Orb instead. I personally tried this one and I can tell you it's superrrrr FUN. Just try it and you'll know what I mean.
