Ever wondered if there is beach in Macau since it's geographically so small? The answer is... Yes! There is one and only beach called 黑沙海滩 Hac Sa Beach which literally translate to black sand beach. Hac Sa Beach is all the way in Coloane. The name suggests that the beach is black in colour but it's not really black tho. It's just that there are black sands in the normal sand. You may take bus 25 or 26A there. The journey may take around half an hour if you leave from Taipa area.
I went there around September last year and it was hot hot hot. LOL was just sweating so much and honestly the ice cream didn't help at all.
If I were to compare the cleanliness of the beach in Macau to Penang, it is wayyyyy cleaner. I guess because Hac Sa Beach is smaller and less commercialized, so there is less rubbish too. If you don't know already, we have hotels along the beach in Batu Ferringhi.
Some fun water sports for children. There are actually classes being carried out when I was there. I was eager to sign up but they only provided for children. =(

I revisited Hac Sa beach this April, but it looked totally different haha. Check out by reading the Picnic by Hac Sa Beach blog post.
