Terrazza Italian Dining: One Michelin Star Restaurant for first fine dining experience in Macau.
Cheers to the first fine dining experience in a 1 star Michelin restaurant in Macau. To celebrate Jo's birthday we wanted to do something fancy and better than what we usually have. But honestly we didn't where to go, to think about it Cha Bei is quite a good one but we did it when it was first opened already. But one thing for sure, we wanted to go to Galaxy because the vibe there is just good, it's less crowded and nice to walk around. I think both of us just like the place a lot so went there.
After getting there, we hit the kiosk for selections of restaurants. We spent some good 10mins in front of the screen to decide and finally we agreed to Terrazza Italian Restaurant. It's located on the 2nd floor and we took the elevator. First thing about it, when we reached, there were 2 hosts smiling away and welcoming us. We stood there for awhile and looked at the menu. They were friendly and gave us a warm welcome. It didn't take them long to start asking for our names so they could address us (talking bout Forbes standard huh =P) They then escorted to our table and made sure we felt comfortable before going away to bring us the menu.

Once we've sat down, the waiter was quick to attend to us with ala carte, set and wine menu. We decided to go with a 3-course set dinner and hesitated (for quite a long time) if we wanted to order wine. You know the feeling when you're in this kinda restaurant, it feels like it's compulsory for you to order. Well, both of us don't really drink so no wine for us (I was so sad when they kept the wine glass)
We were served with the entrée of bread, vinegar and olive oil first. For the 3 course dinner set, it came with appetizer, main course and also a dessert.

I do wanna highlight that they actually took quick a long time during intervals of the dishes. As in we had to slow down more so we don't have to wait too long for the next dishes. I was already starving so this really didn't help much. Terrazza Italian, you better speed up when I come next time! (haha already indicating that I'll return)
Main course:
Another thing that I would like to highlight is this steak. It was soooooooo good! We both ordered this steak =) So the beef is juicy and tender on the inside, and yet its' outside is crispy. It felt like the beef melted in my mouth, it was heaven! I'm definitely having this particular dish again! However, as you can see the portion is not too big. I wonder if it's because we ordered it through the set menu and not ala carte? Would appreciate if there could be another 3 or 4 pieces of them.

We had a pleasant surprise when they served us this beautiful looking dessert. Apparently it was on the house, well thanks Terrazza Italian! =)
